Program Overview

With only GHC 480, we will take you through 2 weeks of intensive and insightful sessions.

When learning how to drive, there are certain theoretical concepts that should be studied before getting behind the wheel. The first subject is traffic laws, which exist to keep all drivers safe and ensure a harmonious flow of traffic. It is important to familiarize yourself with different types of signs, signals and road markings and understand when they apply. Speed limits must also be obeyed as exceeding them can result in fines or even jail time.

In addition to understanding the different rules of the road, prospective drivers should become acquainted with vehicle safety measures. All drivers should be aware of how their car behaves in certain situations, such as when driving on wet surfaces or over bumps. They should also understand how to properly adjust seating position, mirrors and seatbelts before driving so they can have optimal visibility and control over their vehicle. Furthermore, the importance of regular maintenance such as tire pressure checks and oil changes should not be underestimated; these tasks will both extend the life of your car and make it more reliable on the road.

Finally, defensive driving techniques are essential for anyone operating a motor vehicle. This includes using turn signals when changing lanes or turning, leaving enough space between cars in traffic and being mindful of blind spots when merging onto highways or performing other maneuvers that require extra caution. As well as this, it is important to always remain alert while driving – that means no texting, eating or engaging in activities that can distract from focusing on the road ahead. By following these guidelines and ensuring you have a full understanding of all the aforementioned topics prior to hitting the roads will help guarantee a safe journey for all involved.
